The seventh edition of the Flying University of Roads (LUD) workshop took place on 09-11.10.2024 at the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the Cracow University of Technology. The Flying University of Roads (LUD) was established in 2018 by employees of the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Bialystok University of Technology (Dr Marta Wasilewska, Eng.) and the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecture at Lublin University of Technology (Dr Janusz Bohatkiewicz, who currently represents Krakow University of Technology and the Road and Bridge Research Institute). ORLEN Asfalt is the main sponsor of the workshop. Over the following years, LUD was joined by the Rzeszów University of Technology, the Gdańsk University of Technology, the Kraków University of Technology and, in 2022, the Silesian University of Technology. LUD is mainly oriented towards educational and research activities.
