Study visit of students of Logistics at the Decathlon CAR warehouse in Gliwice,
On 5.06.2024, 2nd semester Logistics students went on a study visit to the Decathlon CAR warehouse in Gliwice.
Decathlon is an international chain of large-format French department stores offering clothing, articles, accessories, supplements, equipment and sports equipment for 86 sports disciplines.
The visit was divided into several parts and began with health and safety training. Next, the students were introduced to the processes of the low-level warehouse, then they learnt about the functioning of the high-storage warehouse and were introduced to the operation of the e-commerce warehouse. The staff who guided the students through the processes discussed them in great detail, imparting a great deal of knowledge to the young students of logistics.
