Participation of SSC from the Faculty of Civil Engineering in the opening of the Student Creativity Center
On April 15, 2024, the grand opening of the Student Creativity Center was held. Two Student Scientific Circles from the Faculty of Civil Engineering participated in the opening events: SSC Build Green and SSC Extraterrestrial Construction.
At its booth, SSC Build Green presented its past achievements in ceramics. The entire cross-section of activities was shown, from the first bricks made, to products from the Scientists' Night and the EurecaPro STEM competition, to ceramic barrels and castings from PBL.
SSC Extraterrestrial Construction, on the other hand, presented part of a stand for testing the integrity of concrete samples, as well as obtained samples with various additions of their own lunar soil simulant and several geopolymer samples.
