Donate 1.5% of your tax for Alicja Węglorz's treatment
The daughter of our employee and colleague Marek Węglorz, PhD, DSc Eng. - Alicja Węglorz - in April 2020, at the age of 9, fell ill with type 1 diabetes. Type 1 diabetes is an autoimmune disease in which the beta cells of the pancreas, responsible for the production and secretion of insulin, are destroyed. It is a chronic and incurable disease, therefore it requires continuous therapy.
Alicja's parents, Elżbieta and Marek Węglorz, on the one hand, would like to express their sincere thanks for all the amounts donated to the treatment of their daughter Alicja in previous years, while asking for further support. All funds obtained are allocated, in accordance with applicable regulations, for the purchase and ongoing retrofitting of necessary replaceable accessories in the form of punctures, sensors, other medical equipment and for rehabilitation.
