Thanks to the agreement signed in 2022 between the Silesian University of Technology and the Center for EU Transport Projects based in Warsaw (CUPT), it is possible to start cooperation with, among others, in the field of exchange of experience and dissemination of knowledge on the development of transport systems.

One of the results of this cooperation was a webinar entitled "Transport and projects financed from the EU in the era of energy crisis" organized as part of the Transport Research Observatory on January 26, 2023 (agenda). The meeting was held online. The Silesian University of Technology was the content partner of the event.

Among the speakers and panellists there were people representing the Faculty of Transport and Aviation Engineering of the Silesian University of Technology: dr hab. inż. Aleksander Sobota, prof. PŚ (Department of Transport Systems, Traffic Engineering and Logistics) and dr inż. Krzysztof Krawiec (Department of Railway Transport).

The organization of the event on the side of the Silesian University of Technology was supported by dr hab. inż. Grzegorz Sierpiński, prof. PŚ (Head of the Department of Transport Systems, Traffic Engineering and Logistics). Meetings within the Transport Research Observatory are held periodically, so we encourage you to follow the CUPT website: https://www.cupt.gov.pl/

This is another meeting carried out in cooperation with the Silesian University of Technology. Among the previous initiatives, one can mention the conference, e.g. "Electric transport - can it be tamed?" (details here) organized by the CUPT and the 18th Scientific and Technical Conference "Transport Systems.
