The next edition of the Three Minute Thesis competition is behind us
The 5th Silesian edition of the Three Minute Thesis® competition, which was organized by the Center for the Popularization of Science of the Silesian University of Technology and the University Council of the Self-Government of Doctoral Students of the Silesian University of Technology, has ended.
We would like to congratulate all the finalists, whose task was to present the issues and research related to the doctoral dissertation in a way understandable to listeners unrelated to the subject. As the name of the competition suggests, each participant had only 3 minutes for their speech.
The winners of the competition were:
1st place and audience award - Mrs. Katarzyna Sindera from the Institute of Chemical Engineering of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
2nd place - Mr. Kacper Kuta from the Silesian University of Technology.
3rd place - Mr. Eryk Goldmann from the Silesian University of Technology, Faculty of Civil Engineering.
The engineering award went to Mr. Krzysztof Grzyb from the Silesian University of Technology, Faculty of Civil Engineering.
