Award for doctoral student Kinga Zemla

Our Department's doctoral student, Ms. Kinga Zemla, M.Sc., has won an honorable mention in a competition organized by BudSoft for the best thesis defended in the 2021/2022 academic year using the Abaqus program. The thesis entitled: "Experimental and numerical analysis of glass panel subjected to impact with a steel ball" concerned experimental studies and dynamic numerical simulations of the behavior of a glass panel subjected to the impact of a so-called hard body (steel ball).
