Silesian Wind Generator at WindEnergy 2022 in Hamburg

WindEnergy 2022 in Hamburg is one of the largest wind energy trade fairs in the world. This year's edition brought together more than 1,400 international exhibitors from the industry. The exhibitions focused on technology related to on-shore and off-shore wind energy. This year, the fair was also combined with the H2EXPO conference, where industry representatives involved in hydrogen technology could be found.
The Silesian Wind Generator team, representing the Silesian University of Technology and the Department of Thermal Engineering, appeared at the fair as an exhibitor, thanks to the support of the FAMET company. The aim of the SWG is to produce and distribute innovative household wind turbines, ensuring energy independence and overcoming the disadvantages of existing solutions with modern and proprietary simulation and optimisation tools.
