POB6. European Commission approves modifications to programs, among others, for Poland to support companies, including in the field of energy and decarbonization.

„The European Commission has approved modifications, including a budget increase of €5.1 billion (PLN 24.5 billion), to an existing Polish scheme to support companies across sectors in the context of Russia's invasion of Ukraine. […]

The Temporary Crisis Framework has been amended on 20 July 2022, to complement the Winter Preparedness Package and in line with the REPowerEU Plan objectives.

The Temporary Crisis Framework provides, e.g., for the following types of aid, which can be granted by Member States:

- Aid to compensate for high energy prices.

- Measures accelerating the rollout of renewable energy.

- Measures facilitating the decarbonisation of industrial processes.”
