Presentations of our research at the PIS-PAN Scientific Seminar

The Scientific Seminar of the Polish Institute of Combustion and the Combustion Section of the Committee on Thermodynamics and Combustion of the Polish Academy of Sciences was held on Wednesday, April 20, 2022. The meeting was held online via MS Teams platform.

During the event selected scientific research carried out at the Department of Thermal Technology of the Silesian University of Technology was presented.

The presentations were given by:

  • Szymon Sobek, PhD: "Hydrothermal conversion of biomass and waste materials".

  • Jakub Tumidajski, MSc: "Low gradient hydrogen combustion in oxygen".

  • Wojciech Adamczyk, D.Sc., Prof. PS: "Application of ammonia to power a diesel engine".

  • Slawomir Sladek, PhD: "Temperature measurement of a solid fuel particle"
