New doctors in DTT
Welcome to our new Doctors
Two of our PhD students just became Doctors.
The public defence of Piotr Buliński took place on the 9ht of February. His dissertation “Mathematical modelling of heat and mass transfer processes in induction furnaces” has been written under the supervision of Prof. Jacek Smołka.
Discipline Council for Mechanical Engineering awarded Piotr with the PhD title on the 16th February 2022.
The public defence of Maria Gracka took place on the 10th of February. Her dissertation “Modelling and analysis of the blood flow using multiphase approach” has been written under the supervision of Prof. Ziemowit Ostrowski and prof. Alain Kassab from the University of Central Florida (USA).
Discipline Council for Biomedical Engineering awarded Maria with the PhD title on the 17th February 2022.

Curious what’s next for them?
Dr Gracka will continue her research in one of the scientific projects that are currently realised in our Department. Dr Buliński, as the employee of Symkom, will hopefully also have the opportunity for some further cooperation with our University.
