A tailor-made school at the Faculty of Civil Engineering

On St. Nicholas' Day, December 6, 2021, geometric workshops were held at the Faculty of Civil Engineering. "Is the impossible possible?" The workshop was attended by fourth-graders from the Primary School with Bilingual Departments No. 6, Polish Nobel Prize winners in Gliwice. Workshops conducted as part of the "Tailor-made school" project, coordinated by the Center for Popularization of Science of the Silesian University of Technology, allowed young researchers to conduct their own experiments in the field of mapping spatial objects and projecting. Accompanied by the workshop leader, PhD DSc (Arch) Monika Sroka-Bizoń, the participants checked "is it impossible?" and whether it is possible to draw a levitating cube on a piece of paper. The visit to the Faculty of Civil Engineering was an amazing experience for the participants - they liked everything - the Faculty, the Laboratory, the opportunity to meet real students and study the space.
