Gliwice Scientific Meetings

The Gliwice Scientific Meetings are organized jointly by the Maria Skłodowska-Curie National Research Institute of Oncology and the Silesian University of Technology, the two major scientific centers located in Gliwice. The conference is focused on different aspects of cancer research, molecular and cellular biology, medicine, biotechnology, and bioinformatics. Since its start in 1997, the Gliwice Scientific Meetings has established a solid scientific reputation and became a recognizable event not only for Polish researchers. 

 

This year sessions included:

Special session: Professor Mieczysław Chorąży – 70 years of research on tumor biology including The Mieczysław Chorąży Lecture 2021 by Prof. Kari Hemminki

Regulation of Gene Expression   

Cancer Moonshot – Early Detection of Lung Cancer

Targeted Drug Delivery and Experimental Therapies

Radiation Biology and Medicine

Digital Poster Session (including Award for Best Poster Presentation)
