Achievements. POB6. Prof. Ryszard Białecki awarded with the Silesian Science Award 2021.

During the opening gala of this year's Silesian Science Festival, the winners of the third edition of the Silesian Science Awards 2021 were announced. The winner of this prestigious award in the "Employee" category is Prof. Ryszard Białecki, correspondence member of the Polish Academy of Sciences. Professor Ryszard Białecki is an employee of the Department of Thermal Technology of our University.

The prize can be awarded to outstanding authors, researchers and artists who strongly develop and promote Silesian science both in our country and abroad.

The Silesian Science Awards are awarded by the Award Committee, which includes representatives of universities co-organizing the Silesian Science Festival. This year, the chairman of the Chapter was Professor Marek Pawełczyk, Vice-Rector for Science and Development at the Silesian University of Technology.
