Director of the Science Popularization Center, Aleksandra Ziembińska-Buczyńska, PhD, Hab., professor at the Silesian University of Technology is the winner of the contest "POP Science" of the Katowice Silesian Science Festival in the category "Think globally, act locally - scientist and / or academic lecturer at a university in the Silesian Voivodeship.

Marcelina Jureczko, PhD, from the Department of Environmental Biotechnology of the Silesian University of Technology received the award in the category "Think globally, act locally - inhabitant of the Silesian Voivodeship".
