The first meeting of the Social Council of the Faculty of Civil Engineering in the new academic year 2021/2022 took place on October 6, 2021. The meeting was attended by:

1. Chairwoman of the Social Council, prof. Joanna Bzówka,
2. Secretary of the Social Council, PhD DSc. Eng. Tomasz Krykowski, prof. at SUT, and members of the council:
3. MSc. Marek Badura, Vice President of the Management Board, Technical Director, MOSTOSTAL ZABRZE BIPROHUT S.A.,
4. MSc. Franciszek Buszka, Silesian Chamber of Civil Engineers in Katowice,
5. MSc. Mariusz Czyszek, President of the Silesian Chamber of Construction,

During the plenary session of the Social Council of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, experiences were exchanged and the development problems of the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the Silesian University of Technology in the period of the COVID-19 pandemic and the period of gradual recovery from the pandemic were discussed.
