On August 30, 2021, the regulation of the Rector of the Silesian University of Technology was published, regarding the organization of education from October 1. Therefore, in the coming academic year, learning will take place in the contact form, in compliance with the applicable sanitary regulations. In the event of an increase in the SARS-CoV-2 virus outbreak, another form of organization of education may be introduced.

Pursuant to Regulation No. 146/2021, education will take place in the form of contact, i.e. with direct, physical participation of academic teachers or other persons conducting classes, as well as students and doctoral students. This applies in particular to: laboratory classes, exercises, seminars, project classes, foreign language courses and consultations. Contact education is conducted in compliance with the applicable sanitary regulations.

Lectures will be conducted in the contact form or in a hybrid form (with partial presence of the group in the lecture hall), depending on the technical and organizational possibilities. In the case of lectures conducted in a hybrid form, it will be necessary to record them and make audio-video recordings available on the Remote Education Platform of the Silesian University of Technology.

Pregnant students and people with disabilities have priority in taking seats in the classrooms and at the devices used during classes.
