As part of the Science Days of the Silesian University of Technology, the second day of the 4th International POB Conference is taking place on 10 April. One of today’s programme highlights is a session delivered by the National Centre for Research and Development (NCBR).
The presentation entitled “Daring to win – how Akces NCBR fuels high-risk, high-impact startups” will begin at 12:45 at the Education and Congress Centre. Attendance is open to all and does not require prior registration.
The presentation will introduce the concept of acceleration and outline the activities of the Akces NCBR programme, which supports the development of innovative projects at the interface between science and business. Participants will learn how early-stage researchers and project teams can access financial and mentoring support, as well as gain insight into the process of commercialising research results.
The Akces NCBR programme offers, among other forms of support, grants of up to PLN 300,000 alongside expert mentoring for projects with strong market potential . The session will also present the application pathway and current opportunities to join the programme.
The event provides an opportunity to explore practical tools for developing innovation and to better understand how research outcomes can be effectively implemented in the economy.
