Challenge for the Chemists! Prizes are waiting

How to talk about research in the field of organic chemistry in 360 seconds? This is a challenge that students and PhD students can face. Attractive prizes await the best.

The 360 ORG-CHEM Challenge competition is addressed to people conducting research in the field of organic chemistry. The competition will take place within two separately assessed groups, including students of the last year of second-cycle studies or uniform master’s studies, as well as graduates from 2024 or participants of doctoral schools.

Participation in the competition does not involve any fees on the part of the candidate.

To take part in the competition, you must submit your application along with a brief description of the conducted research. Next, the competition committee will select the most interesting projects and invite you to present a 360-second presentation.

The final of the competition is scheduled for December 2.

The competition application must be made by registering on the website (www.360.us.edu.pl), where you can also find detailed information about the competition.

To be won is PLN 3 000 for the best presentation in the category "research within doctoral theses" and PLN 1 500   for the presentation of research carried out as part of master's theses.

The event is carried out in the City-Region-Academy band as part of the celebrations of the European City of Science Katowice 2024.
