Energy Transformation (TE) is the reality in which we live and the direction from which there is no turning back. It is the answer to the crises that affect each of us – whether it be through climate change, the health consequences of environmental pollution, or the rise in electricity prices. After all, it is a process connected with many spheres of public life – economy, legislation, technological development.
For years, the editors of the Energetyka-rozproszona.pl portal have been trying to educate private energy consumers, spread awareness about the development and use of renewable energy sources and mobilize to create grassroots energy initiatives.
The competition for a scientific and popular science book related to the topic of energy transformation (Książka w TEmacie) is the next step in a long-chosen direction. The editorial ambition of the portal is to select from the publishing offer such publications that thoroughly examine a specific aspect of the Energy Transformation or accurately describe changes taking place in our reality through the prism of energy.
In the competition, the monograph “Climate and environmental protection, modern energy” has been nominated. Its authors are Prof. Sebastian Werle, Dr Hab. Eng. Joanna Ferdyn - Grygierek, Prof. SUT and Dr Eng. Marcin Szczygieł. You can vote on the monograph until October 10th at the Książka w TEmacie - KER2024 (energetyka-rozproszona.pl) .
The announcement of the results of the competition will take place during the 2nd Congress of Distributed Energy, from 28 to 30 October 2024.
