Prizes for the Student Creativity Centre of the Silesian University of Technology
On 27 September, in the Royal Castle in Warsaw, the awards in the competition for MODERNIZATION OF THE YEAR 2023 - 18th Edition were presented. The investment of the Silesian University of Technology - The Student Creativity Centre - received a distinction in this competition.
On behalf of the Rector of the Silesian University of Technology, the diploma was received by Dr Hab. Eng. Arch. Tomasz Bradecki, Prof. SUT, Dean of the Faculty of Architecture. During the session of the Senate of the Silesian University of Technology, it was handed over to his Magnificence.
Let us remind you that the designer of the building was Dr Hab. Eng. Arch. Klaudiusz Fross, Prof. SUT with his team. The building was also recently appreciated in the competition for Investment of the Year 2023/24.
The Student Creativity Centre was created as part of the Initiative of Excellence – Research University program, and its creation was inspired by the d.school at Stanford University, which is a place for creating modern projects and solutions for science and business. The official opening of the facility took place in July this year.
