The Youth Climate Council of the Minister of Climate and Environment

The recruitment for the Youth Climate Council at the Minister of Climate and Environment is taking place until September 9th, 2024.

It is an auxiliary body operating at the Ministry of Climate and Environment. The tasks of the Youth Climate Council are:
• Expressing opinions on matters covered by the departments of government administration on climate, energy, and environment, in particular presenting opinions on planned policy changes, strategies, and legislative changes in the scope of the Minister’s competence, including proposals for solutions.
• Creating and promoting pro-ecological and pro-climate attitudes among young people.
• Raising the level of knowledge among young people in matters covered by government departments on climate, energy, and environment.
The Council is composed of 19 young people from different backgrounds, and the common goal of all Council members is to act actively for climate protection. The Youth Climate Council is a platform for discussion, exchange of experiences, requirements, and ideas among young people from all over Poland.
Candidates may be persons who are at least 17 years old on the date of the announcement of the call (23 July 2024) and at the same time under the age of 27.
