Kajetan Gudowski from the Silesian University of Technology joined the Polish Space Agency
A student of the Silesian University of Technology - Kajetan Gudowski was nominated a member of the Student Council of the President of the Polish Space Agency.
In the announcement of the Student Council of the President of the Polish Space Agency, we read that on July 12-13, 2024, the inaugural meeting of the 5th Term of the Student Council was held at the headquarters of the Polish Space Agency in Warsaw, during which new members from various universities from all over Poland accepted nominations. The nominees are students distinguished by high student activity in science clubs, student organizations and projects in the field of space technologies, as well as students distinguished by high knowledge and interest in space and the development of the space industry in Poland and in the world. In this group, a student of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering - Kajetan Gudowski, who studies automation and robotics on a daily basis, has been distinguished due to his activity in this field.

This is an important distinction for the student, which opens the way to a career in the space industry. The Student Council of the President of the Polish Space Agency is an interdisciplinary advisory body to the President of the Polish Space Agency, composed of students of Polish universities with interests related to the development of the space sector, representing students and student organizations operating at Polish universities. The Council consists of thirty particularly talented students from universities from all over Poland, whose aim is to promote the Polish space sector.
Appointments to the Student Council were presented by the President of the Polish Space Agency himself, Prof. Dr Grzegorz Wrochna.
During the congress, Council members also held a meeting with the Vice-President of the Polish Space Agency, Dr Michał Wierciński, with whom they had the opportunity to discuss the prospects for the development of the space industry in Poland and the role of young people in this field. He also shared his knowledge and valuable experience in the space industry, emphasizing the importance of cooperation between civilian entities of the public and private sectors and institutional recipients.
