Dr Eng. Maria Oskędra has passed away 

We regret to inform you that Dr Eng. Maria Oskędra, née Świtońska, a long-time academic teacher at the Faculty of Chemistry and at the then Faculty of Metallurgy of the Silesian University of Technology in Katowice has passed away. 

Dr Eng. Maria Oskędra was an educator of many generations of engineers and master's students, a researcher, and the author of numerous publications and patents.

Holy Mass will be celebrated on June 21, 2024, at 10:00, in the Church of St. Charles Borromeo at the Powązki Cemetery in Warsaw.

Funeral ceremonies will take place on the same day after the Holy Mass.
