On Sunday, June 23, the sixth edition of the World Push Up Day will take place at the Mrowisko Student Culture Centre, during which another attempt to break the Guinness record in doing push-ups by as many people as possible in one place will take place. The Silesian University of Technology is a co-organizer of the event.

World Push Up Day promises to be exciting, because the organizers have prepared attractions for children and adults. The event plan will include yoga classes, health lectures, as well as demonstration stands. At one of them, the Faculty of Biomedical Engineering of the Silesian University of Technology will present the possibilities of conducting biomechanical research on push-ups and calisthenics training. Everyone can also take part in an attempt to break the Guinness record in doing push-ups by as many people as possible in one place.

On this day, the National Calisthenics Games - Phoenix Games will also take place. Calisthenics is an exercise that we should do every day using our own body weight. This is the second edition of this event.

We invite you on Sunday to the Student Culture Centre Mrowisko at 85, Pszczyńska Street in Gliwice. The event will start at 10.00 a.m.
