On the 20th and 21st of May, the XIX International Interdisciplinary Conference of Technical Universities InterTechDoc2024 took place. The participants reported the results of their research in nine lecture sessions - in Polish and English.

The whole conference was filled with inspiring discussions, exchange of scientific experiences and substantive meetings among the rector authorities, professors and the team of the Doctoral School of the Silesian University of Technology.

The summary of the event and the award ceremony took place with the participation of Prof. Dr Hab. Eng. Wojciech Szkliniarz , Vice-Rector for Student Affairs and Education, Prof. Dr Hab. Eng. Bożena Skolud – Director of the Doctoral School, Grażyna Maszniew, Director of the Studies Service Centre and Małgorzata Sołtyńska-Rąb, Head of the Student Career Office.

The winners were PhD students of Wrocław University of Technology, Silesian University of Technology, foreign doctoral students, and students conducting research within PBL projects. More than one hundred people attended the conference. 

The University Self-Government Council of the Doctoral Students,’ the Office for Persons with Disabilities and Student Career Office of the Silesian University of Technology were responsible for the organization of the event.
