The ceremony of handing over the power generator to the Lviv Polytechnic National University

At the Silesian University of Technology, a ceremony of handing over the power generator to the Lviv Polytechnic National University took place. The event was attended by the authorities of the Silesian University of Technology – the Rector, Prof. Arkadiusz Mężyk and Prof. Marek Pawełczyk Vice-Rector for Science and Development.

The generator set was donated by Marelli. The device is a support for the Lviv university in the difficult times in which Ukraine found itself. 

It is not just equipment. It is a promise and a hope that the light of knowledge will never be extinguished in the halls of this venerable Alma Mater. This is our way of ensuring that, in the event of the worst, the education and development of students will survive. The generator will be a symbol of the source of energy, literally and metaphorically, that keeps the dreams and aspirations of students alive.

The ceremony of handing over the device took place on April 26^th, 2024, at the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the Silesian University of Technology.
