The INTARG® fair is an international event presenting and promoting inventions and innovations. It is devoted to the presentation of the potential and achievements of technological thought and science - inventions, technologies and services addressed to industry.
The Silesian University of Technology was the Content Partner of the Fair. Participation in the event was coordinated by the Centre for Incubation and Technology Transfer of the Silesian University of Technology, which organized a conference, which was an accompanying event of the fair, entitled "15 years of synergy between science and business", which opened the jubilee celebrations of the 15th anniversary of the operation of the unit at the University.
The program of the event included discussion panels devoted to the synergy of science and industry, knowledge and technology transfer, as well as models of cooperation between scientific units and the socio-economic environment. Among the panellists of the conference were representatives of the Technology Transfer Centres of the Medical University of Silesia, the University of Warsaw, the Opole University of Technology and the University of Opole, the University's partner companies, as well as the researchers of the Silesian University of Technology, who are participants in the 4th edition of the program entitled “Incubator of Innovation” implemented at CITT and representatives of CITT of the Silesian University of Technology headed by CITT Director dr Eng. Magdalena Letun-Łątka.
One of the most important elements of the conference is also the premiere of the original board game of the Centre for Incubation and Technology Transfer of the Silesian University of Technology, entitled “Science is the business of tomorrow!".
