Conference "15 years of synergy between science and business"
The conference is an event accompanying the 16th International Fair of Inventions and Innovations Intarg®2023 and will be held on May 24th -25th, 2023 at the International Congress Centre in Katowice.
The conference inaugurates the celebration of the fifteenth anniversary of the Centre for Incubation and Technology Transfer of the Silesian University of Technology (CITT SUT), established by the University Senate in 2008. The Centre for Incubation and Technology Transfer, as the unit responsible for the protection of intellectual property, supports, advises and improves the efficiency of all existing processes. The constant pursuit of the transfer and commercialization of results is a kind of system of creating intangible assets, based on the appreciation of the creative activity of the University's employees, protection of these rights and their skilful use.
Since 2008, CITT SUT has played a key role in shaping the activities carried out in the field of implementation and commercialization in cooperation with the economic environment. In its activities, CITT SUT performs market analyses, examines the level of interest of business partners as a result of its acquisition activities, including the dissemination and promotion of the technological offer of the Silesian University of Technology.
The event "15 years of synergy between science and business" aims to show and summarize the current activities of the Centre in its statutory scope and is also an opportunity to meet and discuss with partners from the socio-economic environment.
During the event, the premiere of the board game of the Centre for Incubation and Technology Transfer of the Silesian University of Technology, entitled : “Science is the business of tomorrow” has been scheduled.
