Sports Day Competitions
Championships of the Silesian University of Technology, a football match between professors and students, a lot of sports and skill competitions - all this was prepared on the occasion of the Sports Day by the Sports Centre of the Silesian University of Technology. The event will take place on May 18th.
As part of the Sports Festival, at the facilities at 26, Akademicka Street and "Orlik" near Mrowisko, all interested will be able to compete, among others, in in such competitions as badminton, bicycle obstacle course, horseshoe throw, bridge or simultaneous chess. The event starts at 9am and runs until 2pm. Teams of three will also compete in netball and three-person basketball (registration is required).
In case of bad weather, the competitions will be held in the new hall at 28, Kaszubska Street.
On the same day, in the morning, willing athletes can also compete in the Championships of the Silesian University of Technology in several disciplines, e.g. in cross-country running, tennis, squash or arm wrestling. All competitions and starting times are listed on the event poster - registration will be kept until before the start.
At 10 a.m., a football match between professors and students will be played, and earlier - at 8.30 a.m. - in the OSiR hall, the final match for the championship of the Silesian University of Technology in men's basketball will begin.
