Universia International Rectors' Summit in Valencia, Spain

The 5th Universia International Rectors' Summit will take place from 8^th to 10^th May. The summit will be hosted by the city of Valencia and the Santander Group. Over 700 rectors from 14 countries will be present at the meeting. The Silesian University of Technology will be represented by the Rector of the University, prof. Arkadiusz Mężyk.

The 5th Universia International Rectors' Summit is one of the most important events in higher education. Under the theme "University and Society", participants will reflect and discuss the role of universities in today's societal challenges and how they can work even better for a more prosperous, egalitarian and inclusive society.  

Conversations and debates broadcast online will be focused around three themes:

• lifelong learning,
• promoting entrepreneurship and innovation
• network of cooperation and connections between universities from around the world.
