Another inauguration of MBA studies at the Silesian University of Technology
Ahead are classes conducted in accordance with innovative teaching methods, study visits in the country and abroad, meetings with recognized authorities - 78 participants officially started their MBA studies. This is the third edition of these studies at our University.
In this edition, two MBA study profiles have been launched: Industry 4.0 and Hydrogen Technologies and Energy Transformation. As argued by Dr Małgorzata Dobrowolska, prof. SUT, head of MBA studies and director of the Business School, the organizer of studies at the Silesian University of Technology, the curricula have been developed based on the standards of prestigious, world accreditations and are a response to global challenges in the world of industry and business.
– We tried to harness the digital transformation, which is why the MBA Industry 4.0 and energy transformation, hence the MBA Hydrogen Technologies and Energy Transformation profile. Our goal was to prepare our leaders and managers in precisely those areas that offer a certain future - said the professor during the inauguration ceremony - "Feel the power of management and new technologies" is our motto - she added.
Among the people who have chosen MBA studies at the Silesian University of Technology are representatives of many global corporations and, for the first time, people from abroad. The next edition was opened by, among others, dr hab. Eng. Tomasz Trawiński, prof. SUT, Vice-Rector for Infrastructure and Promotion, who played a double role, because he himself undertook studies on the profile of Hydrogen Technologies and Energy Transformation. – We always keep up with global trends and the profiles of MBA studies show it perfectly. What captivated me was the response to the current changes that are taking place in the broadly understood energy sector. Everyone is wondering how energy prices will develop, what will affect them, how hydrogen technologies will develop - said the vice-rector.
Exceptional staff, classes with practitioners, visits to partner companies await students, and after graduation, an MBA diploma signed by the Silesian University of Technology - one of the 10 research universities in Poland and Nyenrode Business University in the Netherlands - one of the best business universities in Europe.
