Thematic conference within Priority Research Area 4 (POB4)

On 15 February 2023, a thematic conference will be held in the framework of POB4: Smart cities and future mobility. The meeting will be hosted on the Zoom platform.

The conference combines two thematic areas:

• Spatial inventory of urban resources, diagnostics and structural monitoring of buildings and urban systems, including building and infrastructure safety and risk management, as well as the application of modern computational methods, artificial intelligence, spatial analysis and visualisation techniques (BIM, VR and GIS).
• Optimal design of buildings and their management systems and building automation with regard to energy consumption, thermal comfort, acoustic climate and occupant safety, research into the energy self-sufficiency of buildings through the implementation of renewable energy technologies in urban areas, protection of urban environmental resources, urban design and planning, exploiting the potential of local cultural heritage through the modernisation and adaptation of historic buildings and the revitalisation of degraded post-industrial areas.
