5th International Scientific and Technical Conference
The use of modern technologies in ensuring security at airports - this is the theme of the 5th International Scientific and Technical Conference "Security Management in Techniques, Technologies and Transport Policy" which begins in Szczyrk.
The aim of the conference is to integrate environments representing all types of transport, with particular emphasis on the area of safety, as well as to establish lasting cooperation. The conference will take place from 23rd to 25th November 2022 in Szczyrk.
The organizer of the event is the Faculty of Transport and Aviation Engineering. It will be attended by representatives from Upper Silesian Aviation Society, Office of Electronic Communications, Office of Rail Transport, Motor Transport Institute as well as representatives of aviation companies.
The meeting will discuss issues related to the functioning of an integrated safety system in transport (air, road, rail, sea, inland water and space) and its technical, economic, political and psychological aspects.
The conference will be attended by prof. Elmar Wilczek, an outstanding expert in the field of aviation. The professor will also meet students of the Silesian University of Technology at the Education and Congress Centre in Gliwice, where he will deliver a lecture entitled "Pioneers of aviation in Silesia and their achievements". The lecture will take place on November 24th, 2022, at 16.00 in Aula E.
