Online voting lasts until November 28th.
Dr Aleksandra Chrupała (linguist and typhopedagogue) is currently associated with the Silesian University of Technology, where she teaches French at the Academic Secondary School of the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice. Professionally, she deals with applied linguistics and the Canadian version of French; she is also interested in alternative communication and audio description, i.e. translation adapted to the needs of the blind. She also popularizes her passion for the language and culture of Francophone countries, especially among children and young people.

Dr Eng. Rafał Setlak is a scientist and engineer who has been explaining for 20 years why it is not worth being afraid of hybrid and electric vehicles. With easy-to-understand figures, he shows what the transformation of transport is all about and why it brings us so many benefits.

The distinction is awarded to people and projects popularizing science in three national categories (videoblog, website or blog, radio broadcast or podcast) and two regional categories under the common name: think globally, act locally - separately within the academic environment (university employees) and residents of the Silesian Voivodeship.
All voters will decide about the winning project, maintaining the proportion of 50% of Internet users' votes and 50% of the jury's votes. The results will be announced on December 4th during the Silesian Science Festival KATOWICE 2022.
