Scholarship program "New Technologies for Women - Ukraine"
The Perspektywy Education Foundation and Intel are starting a new scholarship program for girls at STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics). The "New Technologies for Women - Ukraine" program is aimed at Ukrainian students, PhD students and graduates of secondary schools (starting technical studies in autumn 2022) who are in a difficult situation due to the ongoing war in Ukraine.
The program includes:
- 10-month financial scholarship in the amount of PLN 20,000 gross (paid on one-off basis until November 31, 2022),
- technical and soft skills workshops with experts from Intel Technology Poland,
- career counselling sessions and participation in the Buddies mentoring Program,
and free participation in Perspektywy Women in Tech 2023 - the largest STEM, Tech & IT event for women in Europe and Asia.
The following persons can apply to the "New Technologies for Women - Ukraine" program:
- students from Ukraine and PhD students studying at Polish technical and university colleges in STEM fields (list of universities and fields of study),
- high school graduates from Ukraine, starting their studies in the field of STEM in the academic year 2022/2023,
- candidates should have a communicative knowledge of English,
- have the status of a student / doctoral student for the entire next academic year,
- attach a certificate from the university confirming the status of a student / doctoral student.
Recruitment to the "New Technologies for Women - Ukraine" program is two-stage and consists of the following parts:
- STAGE I (from August 16 to September 10, 2022) - receiving applications online via the electronic form on the project website and formal verification of applications.
- STAGE II (until October 20, 2022) - selecting 50 winners through an application competition.
