XIII edition of the Marka-Śląskie competition
The Gliwice Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Marshal Office of the Silesian Voivodship invite you to participate in the 13th edition of the Marka-Śląskie (footnote: the Brand Silesia) competition. The competition aims to promote the region, entrepreneurs, and people from the Silesian region.
The Marka-Śląskie award is an acknowledgement of active, entrepreneurial, and socially responsible behaviour, which contributes to the creation of a recognisable brand of Silesia. This contributes to greater investment attractiveness, competitiveness, and new perspectives for the development of our region.
The competition aims to promote the Silesian Voivodeship, focusing not only on its industrial and economic advantages but also on social, cultural, political, or sporting phenomena. It is open to any person or institution whose activities and actions create a good image of Silesia, who is recognisable, has a special reputation, is an ambassador of Silesia in Poland and worldwide.
Prizes are awarded in the following categories:
- Economy
- Science
- Culture
- The cultural heritage of the region
- Sport
- Tourism and recreation
- Product
- Service
- Health
- Non-governmental organisations
- Corporate social responsibility
- Media
- The personality of the year
Candidates for the Marka-Śląskie award can be proposed by local government units, professional and economic self-governments, universities, associations, non-governmental organisations, foundations and press, radio and television editorial offices. Entities interested in the competition are also entitled to nominate themselves.
The awards will be granted on the 3rd of September 2022 at the Gala of the Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Gliwice.
Applications for the Marka-Śląskie award and required attachments should be sent by the 30th of June, 2022 by traditional mail (on a CD or pendrive) to the address of the Chapter Office or by e-mail to markaslaskie@riph.com.pl.
