Associate Professor Lucjan Michał Zieliński MSc, passed away

It is with deep regret that we inform you that on 12 February 2022 Associate Professor Lucjan Michał Zieliński, the first Dean of the Faculty of Organisation of Production at the Silesian University of Technology, passed away at the age of 97.

Associate Professor Lucjan Michał Zieliński was an exile, a prisoner of a labour camp in the USSR, a soldier in the Second Infantry Division of the First Polish Army. He was also a long-time teacher and a tutor of the academic youth.

Associate Professor Lucjan Michał Zieliński was a Dean of the Faculty of Organisation of Production at the Silesian University of Technology in 1970-79 and 1982-84.

The funeral ceremony will take place on 18 February 2022 (Friday) at 1 p.m. in the St. Anthony’s Church in Gliwice, ul. B. Głowackiego 3. After the Holy Mass, the deceased will be escorted to the parish cemetery in Gliwice, ul. Dolnej Wsi.
