Provisions for the operation of the University from 31^st of May, 2021

Pursuant to Ordinance No. 82/2021 of the Rector of the Silesian University of Technology of 25 May 2021, there have been changes to the provisions for the operation of the University.

From 31^st of May 2021, staff, PhD students and students will be able to go on business trips with the Rector's approval. Unvaccinated travellers are advised to acquire insurance to cover coronavirus-related events.

Moreover, it is permitted to organise open contact events where no more than 50% of the number of seats are available to participants, and to organise and participate in meetings and business gatherings at the University campus with a maximum number of participants of no more than 50. The restriction does not apply to University bodies.

There are also changes in the provision of work – from 31^st of May 2021the obligation to provide work in a stationary form will be restored. In justified cases, work may be performed remotely.
