Modern research university in practice: Elsevier Pure at the Silesian University of Technology
On the 1st of June 2026, the Pure platform will be launched in the conference room of the Silesian University of Technology Library for the first time in Poland. The platform is a comprehensive research information management system (RIMS/CRIS). The event will begin at 10.00.
The meeting will be opened by the Rector of the Silesian University of Technology, Prof. Marek Pawełczyk. In the first session, the organizers of the event – the Vice-Rector for Science and International Cooperation of the Silesian University of Technology Prof. Sebastian Werle and the Vice President of Solutions Engineering at Elsevier, Coen van der Krogt, as keynote speakers, will present the importance of global research. An important point of the meeting will be the presentation of the implementation of the Pure research portal at our University and the presentation of the use of this system at the Technical University of Denmark.
The meeting will be broadcast online – detailed information will be sent to registered participants.
