Representatives of the Silesian University of Technology visit Brussels
The NCBR Office in Brussels invited the winners of the 15th edition of THE LEADER program to a special meeting devoted to the development of international cooperation, the presentation of projects and the possibility of obtaining funds from European funds. The program included talks with representatives of EU institutions, experts on research and innovation funding and presentations of participants.
The Silesian University of Technology was represented by Dr Eng. Jakub Smoleń from the Faculty of Materials Engineering and Industry Digitization, a representative of the NovaMater Research Team and Dr Eng. Michał Kręcichwost from the Faculty of Biomedical Engineering, Department of Medical Informatics and Artificial Intelligence, representing the ForSpeech team.
Both researchers presented the results of their work and the potential of projects within the presentation block “Polish Potential,” arousing great interest of both representatives of the scientific community and experts of the European Commission.
The event was also an opportunity for individual consultations, exchange of experience and obtaining practical tips on applying for funds in European programs. The NCBR in Brussels has announced the continuation of the initiative and further support for the winners of the LIDER Program.
