We invite you to participate in the competition for the best bachelor, engineering and master’s theses devoted to topics connected with Upper Silesian-Zagłębie Metropolis. The organizer of the competition is the Upper Silesian-Zagłębie Metropolis.

Who can enter the competition? Graduates of universities from the area of GZM and all over Poland, graduates of any field of first- and second-degree studies, who defended their thesis in the period after the establishment of the metropolitan union in the Silesian Voivodeship – in the years from 2017 to 2025.

The authors of the awarded works will receive financial awards and diplomas. By the decision of the Management Board of GZM, since this year awards in the competition amount to:   PLN 4 000 for bachelor’s and engineering thesis, even PLN 7 000 for master’s thesis.  

What thesis can be submitted to the competition? It is important that the subject matter of the thesis covers issues relevant to the functioning of the GZM Metropolis and its development based on the Development Strategy of the Upper Silesian-Zagłębie Metropolis for the years 2022-2027 with a perspective until 2035 (the strategy can be found at  www.metropoliagzm.pl).

Where and when the applications will be accepted: Until the 30^th of  November this year, you can submit works in person at the GZM Office:  21A, Barbary Street  in Katowice), by post to the address of the office or electronically : rw@metropoliagzm.pl
