The Silesian University of Technology among the 6 best Polish universities in the QS Sustainability Rankings 2026

In the prestigious QS Sustainability Rankings 2026, the Silesian University of Technology ranked 613th in the world (up from 1301-1350 in 2025), 255th in Europe, and 6th among Polish universities (out of 26 ranked institutions), thus confirming its strong commitment to sustainable development initiatives.

The University achieved its best results in the Social Impact category, ranking 542nd globally. In the detailed performance indicators, its highest position was in Health and Wellbeing – 279th place.

The QS Sustainability Rankings evaluate universities based on their contribution to sustainable development across three main categories: environmental impact, social impact and governance. Nearly 2,000 institutions were ranked in this year’s edition.
