In May, students of Silesian University of Technology from the Silesian Greenpower team who compete in F24+ competitions taking place on tracks in Great Britain returned to the competition.
Let us remind you that Silesian Greenpower is competing in F24+ races. This is a category in which the driver can be up to 26 years old. All cars are built with the same motors, powered by 240 W direct current. They also have the same batteries with a capacity of 36 Ah. The race lasts 60 minutes. The team that completes the most laps within that time wins.
Students of Silesian Greenpower, whose coordinator is Prof. Dr Hab. Eng. Andrzej Baier started this year’s season at the end of May at the Lotus Hethel Heat racing track, in which they took fourth and fifth place. They achieved the same positions at the Bedford Heat in early June.
However, there was only progress in the next competition. At Predannack in Cornwall, they took third and fourth places, and recently at Blyton Park Heat, second and fourth places. Congratulations!
The next starts of the representatives of our university will take place already in September.
