The Fourth International Silesian Festival of Architecture, Arts and Crafts
The Faculty of Architecture of the Silesian University of Technology and the Student Science Club +Moduł invite you to the fourth edition of the International Silesian Festival of Architecture, Arts and Crafts. On the occasion of the jubilee of the 80th anniversary of the University, the event will last for six months, and the participants will have the opportunity to take part in creative workshops, inspiring meetings, and lectures.
Schedule of the festival:
11 June, 13:30 – lecture by sculptor Jerzy Kędziora “Kinetic sculpture”, 14:30 – workshop “Kinetica – the art of moving”, exhibition of kinetic sculptures by students of the first year of Interior Architecture
13 June, 10:30 – Creative workshop “Pyramid of Time – the Origins of Architecture”
October – meeting with the Institute of Architecture Documentation, workshop “Bauhaus Me” conducted by the iKAWA Science Club, exhibition of sculptures inspired by bauhaus art made by students.
November – a meeting with students “Beginnings in the Architect’s Profession,” workshops “Łukostrukcja” with a story about medieval arch constructions conducted by the ROCOCO Science Club
December – an inspiring meeting with an architect. A story of inspiration, path, and beginnings in the profession of architect, Archi Walk through the building of the Faculty of Architecture – our Architectural orders.
