On May 14th, 2025, the National Quality Congress which will last until Friday, May 16th, was inaugurated at the Education and Congress Centre of the Silesian University of Technology. This event has become a permanent fixture in the calendar of the most important initiatives promoting quality culture in Poland.

The National Quality Congress is a unique meeting – the result of three years of work of a team of enthusiasts gathered around the project “Quality Without Retouch with Anna Farion.” It gathers representatives of the world of science, industry, administration, and leaders of organizational transformation. Here knowledge meets experience, trust relations with the future, and quality meets responsible business.

The opening ceremony of the Congress was held by: Vice Rector for Collaboration with Civic and Economic Environment Prof. Dr Hab. Eng. Marcin Staniek, Prof. SUT, the organizer of the event Anna Farion, co-organizer Dr Hab. Eng. Marek Roszak, Prof. SUT, Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Dr Hab. Eng. Marcin Adamiak, Prof. SUT and Secretary of the Municipal Office in Gliwice, Mr. Piotr Popiel.

The lectures on the first day are focused on topics related to quality – they address, among others, the relationship between different concepts of business management, management principles and resources needed by leaders, the personalization of quality services in response to customer demand, as well as strategic approach to energy efficiency and sustainability reporting. There will also be references to the latest tools in management and quality promotion as one of the elements of building a competitive advantage.

The event is attended by nearly 200 quality leaders from all over Poland, including:
• more than 90 unique companies and organizations,
• more than 40 quality managers and directors,
• more than 50 CEOs and business owners,
• 20 scientists – professors and doctors representing 9 academic centres.

The first day will end with a formal integration gala. This year’s gala is not only an opportunity to celebrate common values, but also to present prestigious awards “Promoter of Quality” – an award honouring those who make an outstanding contribution to the dissemination of the idea of quality in Poland.
