Open Career Days are behind us
On April the 10th in the hall of the Sports Centre of the Silesian University of Technology, the interdepartmental Open Career Days 2025 took place. It is an event that once again brought students and companies together, supporting professional development and building business relationships.
It was already the eleventh edition of the event organized by the Gliwice Student Association “BEST.” During the Open Career Days, participants could talk to representatives of companies, learn more about job offers, internships or work placements, as well as get to know the student science clubs.
- “BEST Gliwice is an organization that combines three environments: students, business and academic. This event allows us to connect them with one another. Everyone could come for free – talk to employers, student science clubs, consult their CV, take a photo to accompany it, practice an interview or simply grab gadgets. We have also prepared a zone where everyone can relax and talk freely.” - said Oliwia Gębala, the main coordinator of the Open Career Days 2025 job fair.
For a few hours in the hall of the Sports Centre, students visited the stands, and eagerly took part in the proposed additional activities in the relaxation zone and the career zone.
- “This is a great event where you can practice an interview, and talk directly with companies. Such an experience will certainly be useful in the future” - praises Jakub Szoska, a student of computer science at the Faculty of Automatic Control, Electronics and Computer Science of the Silesian University of Technology.
