Biomaterials Day

On November 20^th, 2024, at the Education and Congress Centre of the Silesian University of Technology a lecture by Prof. Diego Mantovani of Laval University, Canada will take place. The professor is an expert in biomaterials. Beginning at 9.00.

Prof. Mantovani will give a lecture entitled: Evidence and challenges in the characterization of bioabsorbable metals based on Fe, mg, Zn for temporary medical device.

There will be an opportunity to discuss and talk with the professor about long-term and short-term biomaterials. Next, the lecture will be given by Professor Grażyna Simha Martynková (VŠB TU Ostrava) and scientists of the Silesian University of Technology.

The event is co-financed by the European City of Science Katowice 2024.
