Trip from Zawodzie transfer center to the university

The best way to get to the building of the Faculty of Transport and Aviation Engineering from towns located east of Katowice is to leave the car in the suburbs of Katowice and continue your journey by tram. Dedicated to such a complex form of movement is the Park and Ride car park, which is part of the "Zawodzie Transfer Center". Access to the car park is possible directly from the road no. 79, on which it is located, and from other local roads in the immediate vicinity of the interchange. The general scheme of the route between the Zawodzie transfer center and the university by the tram is shown in the figure below

The journey between the Zawodzie transfer center and the university includes the following stages:

1. Use of elements of the infrastructure of the transfer node, including the walking between the car park and the "Zawodzie Centrum Przesiadkowe" tram stop with a length of about 200 m
2. Tram ride on any tram line with courses in one of the following directions: Katowice, Brynow, Chorzow. Get off at the fifth stop called "Katowice Graniczna". The stop is located at the approach to the intersection of Warszawska, Graniczna, Dudy-Gracza and 1st May streets.
3. Walking, approximately 450 m long, from the "Katowice Graniczna" tram stop to the university, along Graniczna and Krasinskiego Streets.

More detailed information on the arrival and departure times of trams and tram lines that can be used to make the start and end of the journey as close as possible to the expectations and needs is obtained through the journey planner. Travel times and scheduled departure times, as well as the frequency of the service, depend on the time of day. In the "From" combobox, enter the name of the tram stop: " Zawodzie Centrum Przesiadkowe (Katowice)". In the "Destination" combobox field, enter the name of the tram stop: "Katowice Graniczna". The completed form should look like the picture below.
