aLIFEca MOOC
- free online course on LCA in the automotive industry

The Faculty of Transport and Aeronautical Engineering at the Silesian University of Technology, together with five foreign partners as part of the project "aLIFEca: Virtual Open Course of Automotive Life Cycle Assessment', from the Erasmus+ programme, developed the aLIFEca MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) online course for sustainable automotive management and green mobility. It is designed for students and all interested parties who want to learn about environmental life cycle assessment of vehicles. The aLIFEca MOOC course is available on the platform https://learn.skills-framework.eu/, which is also referred to by the Automotive Skills Alliance (https://automotive-skills-alliance.eu/training-and-education/). Anyone can register for the course free of charge and learn about automotive life cycle assessment issues. The course is certified. Upon completion, participants can apply for a certificate or a so-called digital badge.

The results are made available to the Automotive Skills Association project partners as the Automotive Skills Pact and to the public.
